The Borromeo Family of Cebu This book is a genealogical history of the Borromeo family of Cebu City, the Philippines. The family settled in Old Parian in Cebu City in the year 1819 and is related to other branches of the Borromeo family based in Bacolod City (on the neighboring Island of Negros), in Iloilo City (on the fellow-Visayan Island of Panay) and in Cavite City (on the main Island of Luzon). The Borromeo family has been an integral part of the Philippines since Carlos "Capitan Aro" Borromeo settled in Cavite City in 1744. Possible links to Borromeo clans in other parts of the world are explored, including to the original Borromeo family from Milan in Lombardy (Northern Italy). The genealogical history of the Borromeo Family of Italy is also explored. 109,915,632 hits have come to this book in paperback form, in Amazon Kindle e-book form or on my site since November 2006 - thank you so very much for your interest and for your patronage!
